2000 Buckle Up New York Calendar

The goal of the Buckle Up New York Campaign is to achieve a statewide safety belt compliance rate of 85 percent in the year 2000.

Based on year-round, statewide, zero tolerance safety restraint enforcement, law enforcement will conducted three, 10-day concentrated enforcement campaigns this year:

May 20-29, 2000: Buckle Up America Week
September 8-17, 2000: Back-To-School
November 17-26, 2000: Happy Holiday
